Is VineClient associated with Vine?

No, we are a third party service not directly associated with Vine run under the umbrella of LGSE Ltd.

Why do I have to download an extension?

The extension permits us to emulate a smartphone and make client-side requests to Vine's private API so your access doesn't get throttled.

The service used to be free, why do I have to pay now?

We used to be able to pay the bills with ad revenue, unfortunately our provider stopped operating and we had to pivot to a subscription model in order to stay afloat. If we did not move to a paid service, it would have disappeared completely.

What is the payment system that you are using? Is my information secure?

We are using Stripe to process payments, it is one of the best payment processors out there. Paypal had too many shortcomings and a terrible subscription API, it is one of the main reasons we went with stripe. Go to Stripe's Website for more information.

Why do I need to enter my payment information to start my free trial?

We have to collect your payment information in order to prevent user abuse. It is one of the only ways for us to protect our service from spam / malicious intent.

When I try to signup it says that my card is declined?

There may be a few reasons as to why this is happening. Stripe unfortunately does not support the collection of payment for subscriptions via debit cards. Stripe also blocks any payment attempt in the event that a user copies and pastes his credit card information inside the payment form as it is a known behavior of users with malicious intent to do so. Please type in manually your billing information when prompted.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Simply login to your account via https://client.vineclient.com, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner, then click on "Subscription", then click on "Cancel Subscription".

I have subscribed to the service but I can't seem to login to my account?

In order to be able to login to your account you have to ensure that you can login to Vine.co with the e-mail address you registered. If you normally login using Twitter, you will have to go to Vine.co, go to your account settings, then change the e-mail address associated with your account to the one you registered with, then reset your password and you should be able to login. If you are experiencing trouble logging in, we can always assist you via the Live Chat feature on the login page.

I was not asked for a password when I registered my account, what is my password?

Your password is the password you use to access your Vine account associated with the username you registered. We do not store your password, the requests are made directly to the Vine API in order to login.

What are the hours of operation of the live chat support?

Can I upload to Beyond The Vine with VineClient?

Unfortunately, Beyond The Vine is a beta feature of Vine and is only offered to select users. We have no control over who gets access to that feature. You may contact Vine directly about access to this feature using this link.
